52 week high/low
52 week high/low is the highest/lowest price that a stock has traded at in the past 52 weeks. It is an important parameter for investors as while making investment decisions they compare the current trading price of the stocks to highest and lowest price the stocks have reached in past 52 weeks. It essentially tells you the highest/lowest price for the stock in the last one year.
Example
Suppose a stock is currently trading at $50 and has a 52 week high of $54 and 52 week low of $39. This means that the highest and lowest price that stock has traded over the past 52 weeks is $54 and $39 respectively.
