I'm from France and I work as a financial market consultant. I have worked for banks, on projects that are involved in the business side and have some experience in project management, developing teams, etc.

It had been 5 years since I started Algo trading. I had created some strategy modules on my local API but what I was missing was the opportunity to learn on Python, to learn some new ways to work on Python library and to implement them in my strategy. And thus, I decided to look for a good online learning platform.

During the lockdown, I had more time at hand to take up online training to upskill. I had been looking for a platform like Quantra for so long. Earlier it wasn’t easy to find such courses that were specific to the trading domain. Such content was mostly available to the professionals with high competency. But today, this material is made accessible on platforms like Quantra for everyone who is curious and willing to learn.

And so, I decided to enroll to Quantra courses. After compeleting them, I was able to improvise the strategies I had created earier (especially the day trading strategies) and make them one step more advanced than before. This meant I could now also create more advanced strategies from scratch.

Quantra's training has been very useful for me. The modules explained, the Python coding, interactive learning, the integration of all this online is done very well! I'm currently taking courses on Machine Learning. This subject, in particular, was very new for me. ML courses on Quantra were the exact courses I was looking for, courses that had machine learning for financial use was a great discovery as all I could find on this subject elsewhere was related to engineering, medical science or industrial systems. Quantra courses are designed in a way that is easily accessible for beginners in programming as well.

I used a lot of other QuantInsti resources before taking the courses, the blogs, the webinar, which are wonderful as well, and full of ideas! They are very interesting, with good presentations and they always have something new to say, like recently there was a webinar about COVID.

One very important thing I noticed was that Quantra courses are very transparent. You know exactly what you're paying for and in the end, it is worth the money you spent because now you know so much more! The courses never hide anything from you, all information is laid out very well. It really helps gain more confidence in the domain. The courses are organised perfectly.
