Quantra is the best platform I have come across for online courses on Algo & Quant trading. The courses make difficult concepts very easy to understand by their good visual examples and interactive learning.

The course was no doubt good, the videos helped a lot, it's like you are in a classroom with the teachers teaching you. The MCQs are thought provoking, the answers may look simple at first, but once you start thinking, you know it is a smart question, something that will help you remember the answer for long!

In this course, I learned how to perform feature engineering on financial data for training algorithms and the types of features that can be generated out of the price data. I tried the coding exercises, I consider them to be a good way to learn this type of material. My goal is to be able to train several types of algorithms for helping me in all my algo-trading infrastructure, which goes beyond trading and testing strategies. The 'Python for Machine Learning in Finance' course really helped me understand the training process of an ML trading algorithm and how to generate potential useful features for the model in a better way.

Good overview of existing literature for combining alphas and an especially good section on execution.

I expected the ‘Decision Trees in Trading’  to be very technical and difficult to understand. However, the instructors did a great job of breaking down the material and making it easy to follow. The courses met my expectations and also provided practical information that I can use post my experience in an exponential way. I got to learn about various concepts like Decision Trees, Bagging Classifiers, Ensembles, and multiple Clustering techniques like KMeans, Kelly Optimization, etc. My learning goal is to develop a better understanding of quantitative trading. This course has helped me get closer to my learning goals by providing me with a comprehensive overview of the topic, developing a better understanding of the various quantitative trading strategies that are available, and inspiring me to develop my own current implementations. 

The Volatility trading strategies course has surely helped me monitor VIX in a better way. I really like the breakout strategy implementation shown using the Jupyter notebook referring to tradebook, event driven backtesting and trade analytics. I tried the coding exercises and I found them interesting. My overall learning experience with Quantra is great, which is why I have enrolled in multiple courses on the platform.

The course has an excellent didactic structure for efficient learning.
