I am running Ubuntu 20.04 on Linux, and there are only Anaconda installation for Windows and Mac, which neither are appropriate.
The IBridgePy team tells me to use the latest version of IBridgePy which is Ubuntu 3.7 for Linux. And I have been warned by the IBridgePy team not to install the Anaconda version. For the Ubuntu3.7 then I can install in the virtual environment.
However as long as the current Python is now Python 3.9.5, and installing the virtual environment, it starts by using the latest python version, then can I install Python 3.9.6 - June 28, 2021 without any problems.
What do you suggest?
Anaconda now has instructions for Linux installation.
Hi William
As I have checked, for using IBridgePy on Ubuntu, you need to use plain Python 3.7 version. You can refer to this link for more information.
Let me know if you need further clarification.
