i want to do backtest of mcx commodity in blueshifts so can i know that what are the sources from where i can get historical chart data and how to do backtest it, and it is not possible on blueshift than what are the sources for backtesting it.
Unfortunately, commodity futures data is not hosted on Blueshift at this point of time. You can try downloading the data from your broker API or official websites supporting MCX commodities historical data. You can backtest futures trading strategies by going through the course “Futures Trading: Concepts & Strategies”. You can download the strategy notebooks present in the course in your local system, and then backtest the strategies in Jupyter notebook with the futures data of your choice.
