A question regarding alerts, interactive brokers and algoritmic trading

Hi, there:



I was wondering if maybe is it possible to use algoritms in order that they should give an alert when news appear for a particular ticker or "tickers"…   is that possible on ibridgepy using interactiv brokers??,



Maybe tickers can be fetched from a scanner??



I wonder… how to do it… please tell me…

Interactive Brokers have certain API functions which can handle the news alerts. You can refer to this documentation for the same. For the IBridgePy implementation of the same, you can reach out to the IBridgePy team directly at IBridgePy@gmail.com.
