Most videos do not display on Microsoft Edge version Version 144.0.3719.92

Course Name: Unsupervised Learning in Trading, Section No: 3, Unit No: 9, Unit type: WaterMarkVideo

Dear Support,

I have repeated issues watching your videos. I switched from Linux to Windows due to DRM, but now have an issue watching the videos on Microsoft Edge:

On some videos, among others the one referred to in this question within the content of supervised learning, I now get:

“Error 2042 To play this video, update this browser to the latest version.”

When I check the details of my Microsoft Edge version, I get:
Microsoft Edge is up to date.
Version 144.0.3719.92 (Official build) (64-bit)

In fact, this is a very recent version, and it was published in the Stable Channel on January 23, 2026.

Why can I not watch the videos? I understand the issue of copyright, but it has been a repeated pain to “get the right browser on the right operating system”.

Please help.

Edit1: Given the 1kB restriction of uploading files/screenshots, I did not upload it at all. One would not see anything on it given the 1kB compression.

Edit2: Now I get “Error 2050 Please disable VPN/Proxy to play video.”

I really seem to keep collecting mysterious browser errors. Why can things not just work? I am having huge troubles setting up Virtual Windows machines just because your platform does not natively support Google Chrome on Linux, which probably half the world uses, particularly those in quantitative finance. Very frustrating indeed. Any fix or more liberal policies regarding browsers, would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for providing the detailed information about the issue you are facing. We understand how frustrating this experience has been, and we appreciate your patience.

To help resolve the playback issue, we request you to please try accessing the course videos using Google Chrome and check if the issue persists there. Our video delivery system is optimized to work best on Google Chrome.

If you continue to experience difficulties even after switching to Google Chrome, we may need to connect with you directly to investigate the issue further.

Additionally, please note that video playback will not work if a VPN or proxy service is enabled. We request you to ensure that any VPN or proxy is completely disabled before attempting to play the videos, as this commonly triggers errors such as Error 2050.

We understand the inconvenience caused due to browser and operating system restrictions, and your feedback regarding broader browser support has been noted and shared with the concerned team for consideration.

Please try the above steps and let us know the outcome. We will be happy to assist you further.
