Are there video transcripts & slides available? It would be nice if we could download them as well as videos themselves.

So far there is no option to "download" the video transcripts & slides in the current platform version. But you can easily access them on the website. Not to mention, once bought, they can be accessed for the lifetime. Since we update the courses taking into account various factors, it is always better to access the videos on the portal itself.
