IBridgePy No security definition has been found

When I try to run IBridgePy for the NIY Futures contract on the Globex Exchange I get an error that says no security definition has been found for this request. Am I using the wrong symbol? I have added the symbol to the security_info excel file and updated the currency/Exchange/Expiration to JPY, Globex, and 20220909.


I have successfuly been able to run ES with no issues on Globex with USD currency. Not sure why the NIY symbol is not working.

This is a common issue. This usually happens when the contract name is not correctly described in the superSymbol method. The best way to solve the issue is to check IB’s official website IB Contract Search and find the correct contact information. If this does not resolve this issue you can reach out to the IBridgePy directly. Their email is "IBridgePy@gmail.com".
