Blueshift: Reference for BANKNIFTY

In blueshift, i am not able to find the symbol for referencing bank nifty. Can someone help?

Blueshift does not have the bank nifty index. However, it has the (continuous) futures data, the symbol is BANKNIFTY-I for the first futures.

Thanks for the answer. It helped. but only partially. While it is working while using NSE Minute data, it is throwing the following error when I attempt to use NSE Daily data. “line 48, in initialize zipline.errors.SymbolNotFound: Symbol ‘BANKNIFTY-I’ was not found.” Can you please look into this?

We have the futures data only at the minute dataset. BANKNIFTY-I symbol is not present in the NSE Daily dataset. We are trying to extend the history of the minute dataset, however it is a bit hard to get good quality minute level data with long history for the Indian equity market.
